What's New With Version 5.5 PDF Print
The following list of features became available with version 5.5:

Automatically Create Job Order from Client Record
If you have setup the ITS Record move function for job orders, you can invoke that while looking at a client record.  Just click Special Functions, Create Job Order from this Company.  This will take you to a new Job Order window with key data filled in.

Letter Mail Merge from Contact Grid
You can now add contact grid data to a mail merge letter.  For setup, go into the setup of any given letter.  Click the Text Fields button at the bottom.  At the bottom of the list, you'll see entries that start with 3, these are the contact grid merge fields.  To print this letter out, while viewing the main company record, click print, select the letter, then click print.   You'll get a list of the contact names that are on the grid.  Select the appropriate one and it will merge that contact's data onto your letter.

Create New Tickle Reminders with Shortcut
You can begin adding a tickle entry from the contact grid or a candidate record by pressing F10 on the keyboard.  This will display the Tickle window with the information partially filled in.  Just select the date and time to complete.

Auto Search Candidates Right from Job Order Record
You can search the candidate database right from the job order record.  Display the job order, click the Update button, then right-click on the save button.  This will search all the candidates who have the same skills that have been assigned to that job order.  With the results displayed, you can view the candidate records or send them right to the daily planner.

View Email History with Date Range - Admin Only
To view sent emails by date range, log in as the administrator.  Display any record in the system, then click Email, Display Email History.  At the bottom right is the Admin button that will allow you to enter a date range.

View Other User's Daily Planner - Admin Only
To view another user's Daily Planner, log in as the administrator.  Go into view your planner as normal.  You will see a button to allow you to select another user, click it, then select the user.

Batch Records from the Quick Display
Support has been added to send records to the batch while in the quick display.  Simply hold down the CTRL key while you multi-select the entries you want batched.  Then click the Batch button as you normally would.

Open Exported Data File from Export Window
Once an export has been completed, a new button will appear with an open folder icon on it.  Click this button to have your operating system open the exported file.  Your operating system will determine which program should open the file based upon the file extension.

View Resume Side-By-Side with Candidate Record
You can view the candidate resume right alongside of the candidate record.  Display the candidate and press CTRL-G.    This will bring up a plain text copy of the resume in a new window.  You can manipulate the location of this window.  To reduce data entry, you can highlight any word or phrase on the resume, then double-click into the appropriate data field on the candidate record.  This will automatically paste the highlighted data into that field.

Set Default Libraries to Scan in Document Interpreter
You can now set which libraries to scan by default.  When in the D.I. window, click the Libraries button.  Select the libraries you want to be scanned, then click the OK button.  This will set these libraries as your default libraries to be scanned.  If you want to change your default, next time you enter the D.I. window, click All Libraries from the list box.   This will remove your default settings.

Wildcard & 2 Word Phrase Support Added for Word Table Search
To use the wild card feature, add an asterisk at the end of your search word or phrase.  We now support up to two word phrases for this search.

Integrated Log for the Resume Extractor
You can now view the results of the Resume Extractor from within ITS.   After the resumes have been imported, click Maint, Resume Extractor, View Resume Extractor Log.  This will show you each record that was added or updated.  Just double-click any entry to jump right to the candidate record.

The following list of features became available with version 5.0:

Searching Candidates/People by Their Record Type
When performing a Field or Screen search in your candidate database, ITS will now allow you to pick which records you would like to search – Candidates, References, or Contacts – or any combination.

Specify Home or Work Email When Performing Mass Emailing
When sending mass emails through the candidate file, ITS will now give you a choice of either home or work email addresses as a default, provided you have both fields on your candidate screen.

Access to Your Outlook Inbox
You will now be able to access your Outlook Inbox directly from within ITS. You can do that by clicking Internet, Outlook Inbox. This will allow you to do the following:
  • View your emails directly in ITS.
  • Save a copy of the received emails to the associated database records.
  • Process a resume into the document interpreter directly.
  • Attach a resume to an existing candidate record directly.
  • Attach an alternate document to an existing candidate record directly.
  • Jump from a received email (replied from your original) to the associated database record.
  • Reply to a received email.

Emailing Alternate Documents
You can now email out an alternate document for a candidate when you email out his resume from the Sendout screen. Once you get to the email composition window, click File, Add Alternate Document. You can choose which alternate document you want to attach.

Emailing Multiple Resumes to a Client
You can now email multiple resume to a client at one time. To do this, go into the candidate file use the Batch function to batch the candidates you would like to send. Then go to the job order or client record and click Email to start the email composition window. Then click File, Add Resume Batch. This will add every resume in the batch to this email.

Notation Made When Emails Are Sent
When sending an email from the system, ITS will now stamp the date/user and subject line in the notes section for each record.  This is in addition to the copy of the email that is kept in the email history.

Additional Manual Fields in Document Interpreter
Some additional ‘Manual’ fields have been added to the Document Interpreter window. They include Work Extension, Company Name, Title, Work Email, Pager, Pager Extension and Cell Phone. After the resume has been processed, you will have a chance to enter data in any of these fields based upon the data you see on the resume. When you click Update, this data will be transferred to the new candidate record. Note – This data will only be moved over if you have corresponding fields on your candidate screens 1 or 2.

Avery 5160 Labels Now Support
You can now use the Avery 5160 labels (3 labels across, 10 rows down).  When printing these labels, you can specify a starting label row and column, eliminating wasted labels.

More Integration with the Resume Extrator
The Resume Extractor program can now be launched directly from ITS.  This eliminates having an additional desktop icon.  You can also view the Resume Extractor log from within ITS and jump to any record listed in the log with a double click.
